Courtney Sullivan always thought there was a better way to bring attention to her bed & breakfast farm stay at Humble Hill Farm.
Courtney reconnects people with the process of growing food and shows them what it’s like to harvest the food and then cook it up in the kitchen for a healthy authentic meal.
Awhile back, she sought to connect and reach people on her own hours beyond the small community where she lives.
She became intrigued, and asked:
- How are people making a living online
- How are they doing webinars
- How are they building email lists
- How are they growing an online presence
She wasted a lot of time and money trying to figure.
But since joining DMC just over a year ago, and then upgrading to Inner Circle, she’s found her home. She’s learned how to put into action all of the original questions that got her started. She’s doing it.
And as she does – as Ann points out in the video – Courtney is wearing a “DMC Glow.”

Inspiring story on how to do more with a farm and integrate on an online business.
Thanks Jahnan! Always learning and I’m so grateful to utilize the creative ideas of other great minds in DMC while I keep up and grow.
Courtney, you are a remarkable woman! I love your concept of blending your Bed and Breakfast with sustainable living. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks Sue! As you know the start up with farming can be tough, I’m really looking forward to assisting others who want to farm make the most of it in the shortest amount of time. The shift to sustainability is happening and I’m so grateful for this team, they sure do sustain me as I learn a whole new game
Always charming and natural Courtney! I’ve followed along your journey and expect great things happening for you in 2014. It’s all set the way you’re “hammering away”!
Thanks Stella! I’ve got some great role models in this community ! I’m grateful for your kind words
In 2008 I had open heart surgery, which by definition required a seven month period of recuperation and healing, without benefit of cash flow. I turned to the internet and a west coast company that was supposed to set me up with a full time business. What happened in fact was that my credit cards were maxed out, they took the money and ran. leaving me with a staggering amount of debt, which I have steadfastly refused to give up on. Sometime in May, I will have paid off the bulk of that debt. Emotionally I was crushed. I also became my own worst enemy in that I was like a person frantically jumping on a horse trying to ride off in 360 directions at once, not finding it, now I am afraid to commit to anything. I became depressed desperately needing direction, a course of action, something I could believe in, commit to, succeed at.
I watched Ann Sieg’s interview with you, and your genuineness touched my spirit, I want to thank you both.
I immediately went online to look at Humble Hill Farm, and within that page, what you said in the interview began to take root. In you, I saw what success looks like. It caused me to pause and take stock.
