Happy Thanksgiving 2012 From Ann Sieg

A Time Of Family Reflection

My family and I have had some major events this past year.

I’d like to share those with you in my Thanksgiving Day video along with how these events have affected my business.

I remain as grateful as ever for my family that has given me the foundation for my business.

If you can, please share with me what you’re grateful for and what you see moving into 2013.

As we go into the holiday season I know I’ll be preparing for 2013 in a really big way.

I’m excited for the opportunities ahead.

  1. Wow Ann – we’ve all made it through some tough stuff this year. My youngest son moved 2400 miles away on the same day my “second Mom” passed away. Lots of transitions!

But what I’m most thankful for this Thanksgiving (other than family and friends, of course!) is that after 12 years of searching, my husband and I truly found and embraced our combined “mission” in life. It was hard to find, and for me, even harder to embrace. But we did it, and we are both so excited about the future. I’m also very grateful to have the opportunity to test drive DMC for the next month since our MLM programs are likely to be the way we fund our mission and I’ll take all the help I can get to make it happen sooner rather than later.

Thanks for all you do – we are all thankful for you!

    • Hi Sheyenne,

Thanks for sharing what you’re grateful for. I’m pleased to see you test driving our Daily Marketing Coach training and mentorship platform. You’re not the only one doing network marketing to fund your mission work. My very upline that I joined eight years ago was doing the same thing.

Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll see you in our private group page.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to YOU, Ann, and to your family and our community. I was delighted to see “you” appear in my inbox this morning as I knew your message would be one of truth, inspiration, gratitude, and hope. You did not disappoint. One of the several factors that ATTRACTED me to you at the outset is your devotion to your family. I’m glad to know that today you are surrounded by your loved ones. Enjoy!!!

I too am grateful for my family (I’ll resist the temptation to brag on them in this space), my friends, my church, my clients, our DMC community, and of course for my Creator who has gifted me with blessings abundant. Life is good indeed.

In 2013, with your help and the help of our fabulous team of trainers and dedicated entrepreneurs, I know I will make an even richer contribution to those I’m meant to serve –> including my family and clients. Life IS good — and getting better and better all the time.

You ask what keeps us grounded. For me it’s my faith, my family, my friends, and THIS community you’ve put together, Ann. Thank you and bless you for pouring your heart and soul into helping each one of us reach our full potential.

With respect, admiration, and gratitude for your mentorship,

    Jory

    • Thank you so much, Jory.

I’m so glad that exactly one year ago you decided to show up for an informational webinar to find out how to work more closely with me. And here you are one year later. So much more advanced in your online marketing. You’re slamming the leaderboard with your results.

We’re super blessed to have you and especially as you’ll be helping with our small group leadership platform. I know working with you we can help a lot more people.

  3. Pamela Benedetti says:

Happy Thanksgiving Ms. Sieg! By chance I came across your Renegade Network Marketer’s info through a forum about mlm sites last night! We are at similar stations in life and the best part our blessing is the ability as entrepreneurs to work under ever-changing life circumstances. I look forward to digging deeper, wiping the slate clean and being coachable so that we may truly make progress towards our dreams this year.

    Best regards,
    Pamela

    • Hi Pamela,

How about that! Just the night before to be finding out about me and my training. Well, so glad you made it here. Being coachable is where it’s at. Truly, my best success stories came from that very attribute. So if I say be consistent in your efforts I know that you’ll do just that.

Let me know if you have any questions and if you haven’t joined our Daily Marketing Coach training and mentorship that would definitely be your next step. There is virtually nothing else out there to compare to it.

Send in an email to my Coaching Director to get more information. His name is Curt Johnson and his email address is curt@8020marketinginc.com.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Thanksgiving Day to you!

  4. Happy Thanksgiving! Great message. I agree
With you 100% about adapting to change.

  5. We have lost two of our family in 6 months – and I am so thanksful to have my mother still in my life – we lost my dad 5 years ago and I know the shift you talk about. It is amazing what happens when you remove one person from your life that it causes…

Happy Thanksgiving to you… I am so glad to be working with you this year and bringing my team with me.

    • Hi Angela,

Two losses in your family. I’m so sorry to hear that. You seem like a huge overcomer as I’ve seen all ready the many hurdles you’ve come through.

I’m super blessed to have you in our Daily Marketing Coach community. Not only as you bring so many new members but also your talent, wisdom and knowledge.

  6. A very special Happy Thanksgiving to you, Ann. You continue to be an inspiration to us all. You posses that rare gift of not just being an accomplished teacher and leader, but one who truly cares for her students and experiences joy from seeing them succeed.

I am thankful this year for continued good health, and for faith, friends and family. Especially thankful for the wonderful education, support and mentorship that I am getting from the DMC program. For the past five years I’ve been “hoping and wishing” that I could retire from my full time job, but, as hard as I worked in the traditional MLM model, my business just didn’t grow like “they” said it would. Social Security and my 401K would be barely enough to exist on, let alone have a comfortable life. Now, with the attraction marketing model, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and, as I declared on my “snowflake” I will retire from my full time job early next year.

I’m definitely moving forward with an attitude of gratitude, thanks to you, the 8020 team and all the wonderful Renegades that I’ve been associated with over the past six months, many of whom I consider as friends.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving. Eat, drink and enjoy the fellowship of your loved ones, then come back and continue to Kill it, Crush it and Destroy it, as only you can!

    Sincerely,

    Lorraine

    • Thank you, Lorraine, for so many kind words. I love what I do and I’m so pleased to have you in our community. You’ve got such a great attitude and heart. Pin that snowflake up right behind your monitor as a constant reminder of your goals. You can do it!!

Thanks also for the kudos to my 8020 team. We’re here for you and we’ll see in February!

  7. Dear Ann:

I listened to the marketer’s manifesto in its entirety last night. Up until 2:30 because I could not turn it off or pause it (except to go to the bathroom, of course).
Listening to your words was like an epiphany to me. In all my trials of various marketing systems and programs, I have never heard anyone of the gurus lay it out honestly like you did, It was truly like a gift that I have been searching for. After all of the money that I “wasted” on other programs that did not help me, I believe I have found one (yours) that I can totally relate to and become successful in. I look forward with all my energy and enthusiasm to working with you and your group. I have wasted so much money that I am now almost drained completely of funds. I can’t figure out how I missed you along the way.
So, on this Thanksgiving day, I want to give thanks for having found you.
God Bless You and Your Family in America and China.
    Cass
PS: I can’t resist one of your paragraphs, as follows:
The network marketing industry has no clue on how to do marketing.
It’s just the truth. Why is this? Network marketing is a business that’s designed for the “average person.” This double-edged sword has severe side effects and I believe it’s the true root cause of almost all the problems experienced by distributors in this industry.
95% of people who get involved in mlm have absolutely no real foundation in effective sales and marketing. Therefore, the stuff they pass on to their equally unknowing downline members can only be described as pure garbage.

    This is extremely insightful, Ann.

    • Thank you Cass. Glad you found tremendous insight through my book “The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto.”

I read your comment as part of my weekly newsletter video to the entire Daily Marketing Coach community. I felt they needed to hear it too. :)

Stay plugged into our training and mentorship. We’re here for you!

  8. Happy Thanksgiving Ann! There is nothing like a holiday surrounded by your family, I agree. On this Thanksgiving, I am the most grateful for my two children, home from college this weekend, my 85 year old sharp-as-a-tack mom who is always telling me about the next great book she has read, my dear friends, and my exceptionally supportive, generous, insightful spouse of 25 years who has never doubted me in the taking on of new ways to think and live. I feel so priveleged to be a part of your team and the friendships that have developed as a result of working closely with other creative spirits.

Thank you for your message this morning. Have a warm and wonderful day with those closest to you.

    • Hi Laurie,

It sounds like we both have as “sharp as a tack” mammas. :)

I spent Thanksgiving Day at my mom’s along with the rest of my family. Glad you got to see your two children. I bet we’ve got children at the same age. One of these days I’ll have to meet your spouse. He sounds like a wonderful supporter of all that you do. It sure makes a difference.

  9. Happy Thanksgiving Day .

There is a song about Thanksgiving like this.
God, “Thank you for all what you have created.
Thank you for what you have Allowed.
    The Light my eyes.
    on what I do have.
    The world’s song spouting out,
The forgiveness and for that I exist
Thank you for all your creation .
Thank you for what you have allowed my
Thank for the laughter of a child.
There was nothing on earth and azure hot corner ,
To sit a woman, loving, giving that I exist.
Thank you for all your creation
Thank you for what you have allowed my to a day of joy,
innocence and integrity, on the sad day that disappeared down,
for two thousand light applause that I exist.”

I tried to translate this wondeful song from Hebrew to English.

  10. Maria Wong (Mrs) says:

    Dear Ann,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for coaching us and helping us. Though technically challenged I have learn new skills by being part of the Renegade Team. My home town is Singapore and am presently based in KL Malaysia. Recently, my husband is diagnosed with 4th stage cancer, and undergoing chemotherapy. It has been a difficult time for me and my son who is still in college. Even though there are other challenges… I have learned to overcome through God’s help… for He has promised to keep me.
I look forward to completing what I set my mind to do and with much appreciation for you and the leaders of this team… and friends… Happy Thanksgiving.

    • Hi Maria,

I’m sorry to hear of the challenges with your husband. Yes, lean on God to help you get through your difficult times. He will not fail you. Perhaps some day we shall meet. With my son in China that makes it very possible for 2013.

    • Thanks Ann,
for your reply. yes… perhaps we will meet in Singapore or Malaysia.. looking forward to it.

  11. Hi Ann,
    Enjoyed your very heartfelt video.
5 years ago my eldest daughter was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. It was a very busy year of building a team to help her through her journey. Just yesterday, after seeing 5 different doctors for her annual cancer check- up, she was given another clean bill of health. I cried tears of joy.
As I look to the future, I look forward to continuing to build my Mlm, which just happened to take off. I absolutely love helping the small to medium businesses increase their customer base and revenue. I love my team and my merchants.
I have much to be thankful for and count meeting you and YOUR team, one of the many blessings in my life.
Have a fun day with your family.
    Blessings to the Sieg Family!
    Cher

    • Hi Cher,

So glad to hear of your daughter’s progress. My mom had cancer 20 years ago and she continues to get a clean bill of health. It’s a lot to give thanks for.

Glad you’re making progress in your business. Music to my ears. :)

Thanks for your contributions to our Daily Marketing Coach community. There’s lots ahead for 2013!

  12. Ann – I am so grateful for many things this year. I managed to accomplish a dream to move to a desired area and still be with family. In this transitional time, I have found so much to be grateful for that I didn’t give much of a thought prior to. And that’s also because I was aware of so many other’s transitions too. In downsizing to move, I helped a lot of people by giving things away, and that made me feel good. Now I feel energized to create more in less space….And that’s also because of mentors like yourself that “appeared” during this time. Grateful for people like yourself that have given me a fresh look to pursue even more of my dreams in a prosperous way for 2013! Blessings Abound.

    • Hi Karen,

I like downsizing. I’m with you on that one. My new mantra is “less is more.” I want to be light and nimble on my feet and ready to move and adapt as need be.

Glad to be a part of helping you grow your business. 2013 will be an exciting year!

  13. Happy Thanksgiving to you also Ann! Nothing significant has changed for my family this year, I live a 2,000 kms from most of my family (except for one daughter who lives close by), but I visit them 3 or 4 times a year. This year, I realized that “visiting” should work both ways, and I need to stay home more and focus on my business, while my family comes to visit me.

Business wise, this year has been huge for me, because I’ve narrowed down my niche and opened up my MLM Blog School. Working with the Daily Marketing Coach team, my MLM Blog School students and my Network Marketing team are going to be my main focus from now on (regarding my business life).

I REALLY appreciate being part of the Daily Marketing Coach team, it’s the kind of team I’ve been looking for, for many years, ever since I was part of a similar type of team back in 2003 to 2005. I also appreciate my 2 grown up daughters, my 2 little grand children and especially my husband John, who is also my business partner.

Thanks so much for all you do for the Attraction Marketing industry Ann!

    Regards from Julieanne

    • Julianne, you’ve been a wonderful beacon of light inside our Daily Marketing Coach community. I love your contributions and willingness to help. You’ve no doubt settled into our community in a really good way.

I’m thrilled to hear how you’ve narrowed your niche along with your MLM Blog School. There’s a big need for that and I’m certain you’ll be able to help a lot of people.

Say hi to John for me. I saw my brother’s band last night and they were really good. It was a lot of fun!

  14. I have so much to be thankful for. My life is rich in family, experiences, and in legacy. I have seen six major goals reached in the past four years and now I am looking forward to what God has for me in the next four years. Blessings, Amy

    • Hi Amy,

We’re grateful to have you in our community. I love how you are a massive action taker and ended up so busy with all the leads coming your way. I hope to see you in February!

  15. Hello and thank you for your warm wishes today, Ann. I’ve never met you, however, I feel like I know you well. I believe it is because your message is always consistent…be aware, ready to adapt and learn new skills for the benefit of all.
I’ve moved back to the Midwest as well after my husband died suddenly. I found great support from a young man starting his own business; he helped me formulate a financial plan for my “suddenly single” life. We hit it off so well, I’m on his team and serve him and his clients to bring clarity to the myriad of financial products that are advertised to folks managing their own finances. I’ve met extremely interesting people and it has given me a new purpose for my life.
Bless you, your family and your work.
    Best Always,
    Ruth Ann

    • Hi Ruth Ann,

We must go back nine years by now. It’s amazing how long we’ve been connected. So sorry to hear about your husband. Now that you’re back in the Midwest you should consider coming to my February event. Are you in Chicago now?

  16. Kari Baxter says:

    Hi Ann!
Happy thanksgiving! That’s interesting you’re back in MN again. I’m sure you miss AR but it’s so nice to be able to be close to your family when you need to be. Our families are about 2 hours away and I love being able to visit them often. My family definitely keeps me grounded. I also appreciate my desire to learn, grow and adapt. It’s so important right now, more than a degree or even a skill. The marketplace changes fast and we have to change with it.

It was great to hear from you. Enjoy your family.

    Kari

    • Hi Kari,

I miss you! Thanks for stopping by. We’re both on the same page when it comes to family. It’s really where it’s at. Now that we’re back in MN we’re “re-instituting” new family activities to solidify the bond. Because, who knows I might up and move some where else… like Asia. :)

      Let’s stay connected!

  17. Hi Ann!
Happy Thanksgiving. I have been thinking about you lately and it was great to see and hear you in video. It is such a neat way to communicate.

I am grateful for the experience of living. I have been very blessed to have met all of the wonderful people I have met in the past three years. I too am grateful for my health and the wherewith all to enjoy life to the max. Life is truly an amazing journey and it sounds like you are creating adventures.

Jim and I went to China for a month and absolutely loved it. Shanghai and Shenzen were our favorite towns.

    Have a fabulous holiday season.

  18. Thank you for sharing, Ann.

For me it has been a rather trying year personally as well. I am so grateful to have recovered from a major health problem, and grateful for my family. I am especially grateful for my 96 year old Mother who has finally accepted the move to an assisted living program with grace and and lessening frustration.

I too made a major move several years ago from California to Kentucky because of Mom’s failing eyesight and hearing. It turned out to be what got me into the entrepreneurial mode. You never know what turns the future brings. I retired from Medicine and started online businesses when I moved. I think I made every mistake in the book, but I learned!

I’m grateful for your guidance. I have followed you since before you struck out on your own and formed the Renegade company. Now I’m to the point in my own business where I need more help in attraction marketing – I am diving in this time! Your detailed interest in our success shows!

    Have a great holiday week-end.

    • Hi Sylvia,

It sounds like we’ve had a lot of cross overs in our lives, especially as it relates to taking care of aging parents.

And wow, retiring from medicine to do an online business. Then you are definitely in the right place. We’ll help you get moving forward in a really good way.

Be sure to post your EOD every day. I’ll be watching for you and welcome to the Daily Marketing Coach!

  19. Happy Thanksgiving Ann and thanks for the inspirational message. Adaptation…this past 2-3 years has been all about adaptation, and LOTS of it. More than I want to, but sometimes that’s what life throws at you. I’m thankful for the focus, direction and connection I get from the you, and the community of DMC staff and members. You have no idea how much it has kept me sane through the constant storm of changes around me these days. I’m especially thankful for the unconditional love and support of my family as I navigate my way as a Renegade entrepreneur!

    • We love having you as a Renegade entrepreneur, Eryn. Thanks for all your contributions to our Daily Marketing Coach community. You’re an inspiration to a lot of people.

      See you in February!

  20. Hello Ann, Pray that your Thanksgiving was fruitful and blessed!! Enjoyed your video, yes the world of business is changing and people adjust uniquely in many ways.

You will find Asia both interesting and challenging. I have many friends that are missionaries there they Love the people and the ambiance of the different counties. One thing for sure business is welcome there, along with changing government attitudes. We will be praying for your family and all the members of our extended DMC family.

Sandy and I are most thankful for the time we share working together daily. We thank God moment to moment for the Love we have for each other and our many friends and family .

    God bless us all! Amen

    • Hi Sandy,

Thanks for your encouragement about my desire to go to Asia. It should be quite an experience. Thanks for your support of the Daily Marketing Coach community. We’re pleased to have you here. Be sure to stay plugged in!

  21. Happy Thanksgiving Ann! It has certainly been a year of transition and transformation for many people, myself included. I was terminated from my job 4 days into the new year and had already been in the process of a divorce. I am so grateful for family and friends whose support through the upheaval has been instrumental as I reinvent myself going forward into 2013!

  22. I knew when your email arrived in my inbox and I saved it to listen to when I had a moment that it would be inspiring! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I’m in Canada so ours was last month.
Yes, it has been a year of change and I believe we are only at the beginning of this universal shift. I have met many challenges this year and as always the toughest ones often have the biggest lessons when I listen. You were one of my first mentors and teachers to online marketing about 5 years ago and it has been an exceptional journey. I am so grateful for the many leaders who have taught me so much about networking online, blogging, writing, coaching, social media, etc. For me, it’s the relationships with immediate family, extended family and friends that matter most. Without good health we aren’t able to live fully physically. Without wealth we aren’t able to tend to our health and happiness. But, without joy in our heart and soul we have nothing. I am grateful for each day however it unfolds ’cause it’s up to me how I choose to feel about each minute. When I start feeling down I only have to look around and see just how much I have and life is good! In the scheme of things life is short but we can make a difference in just a matter of seconds. Thank you for always being yourself: someone who cares about the people she meets.

  23. Hi Ann,

Thanks for sharing your message on what you’ve been doing. I too believe in involving my family in my business, and my 20 yr old son has been assisting me and my clients for several months now.

I think I need to get more involved in learning from you before you leave town. That was a little wake up call to hear you’re planning to move away again sometime, and I should not waste the time while you’re here too busy with my own business to learn from you. Though my market and my goal may be different from yours, the means and strategies that we use to achieve the mission of our businesses are very similar, and I’m all ears to hear your methods.

    Warmly,
    Sue

  24. Hi Ann,
A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I’m so grateful to be alive. Three years ago on May 5th,
the day after my birthday, I stopped breathing. I’m thankful
for the EMT’s and the doctor that saved my life.
I’m thankful for being able to live on the beach here in
    Daytona Beach.
And last but not least, I’m thankful for my wonderful family
that now numbers 20 children, grandchildren and great
    grandchildren.
I’m looking forward to learning from you.
    Len
