Free Webinar: How the FTC Affects YOUR Marketing

The other day I got a question about the two videos we’ve posted over the last week.

To refresh your memory, they were about how to adjust your marketing in light of the new advertising rules by the FTC.

The question I got was challenging:

“What can you and David possibly have to say about the FTC rules that hasn’t already been said?”

I thought it was a great question — and so did David.

Because…

David has a different way of looking at the world than most people do — even other marketers and copywriters!

He’s well aware of the problems people are experiencing. But rather than dwelling on problems, he spends 99% of his time coming up with amazingly simple solutions — step by step, easy, and powerful solutions.

The new video we just posted today is coming down tonight.

It tells you how to sign up for the free Webinar, and it also helps you understand why I’m such a big fan of David’s coaching and teaching?

(And it’s NOT just because he helped us with our seven-figure launch this year.)

In fact, you will learn how you can help yourself to some of the copywriting secrets he has ONLY shared with his private coaching clients.

(They pay him big bucks. You’ll get these secrets tonight, free of charge!)

What David told me as we prepared for the Webinar has already changed our approach to marketing. And given me renewed confidence for the year ahead.

It’s especially important that you have this information now.

See you there!

  1. Folks,

Looking forward to an insightful twist on this issue.

I’ve followed the commentary on the FTC ruling carefully. There’s more fog than fact. Even within the FTC.

Jim Edward’s session was very helpful.

And I’m sure your webinar will provide some positive action steps.

    Herb

  2. Ann and David,
Thanks for the invite to the webinar and for pointing out to me – if I am good to my customers, FTC will not be after me. I am looking forward to hearing more of what you have to say.

  23. Ajoke Olorundare says:

I’m glad this was posted, I’ll definitely be checking out the webinar.

This might sound like a “dumb” question but does this affect marketers who are not in the US? Technically the FTC is an American Federal institution. Do they have the authority to prosecute people out of their jurisdiction?…just a thought.

  24. Ive known about these changes for sometime I never ever worried me because I have taken the time to deeply study marketing.

Thank you again for all the tools you provide fellow marketers.

  25. Information is the key and I look forward to what you have to offer us Renegades! Training for free- how can anyone refuse?! Hope you will record it because I expect this will be a sellout.

  26. Sounds like a great webinar can’t wait. It’ll be great to focus on the solutions rather than the problem. Should keep us all moving in the right directions!

  27. Thanks for the head’s up.
I too am wondering about these new rules in Canada.

    I live in Calgary Alberta
    Cold and snowy here today>

Best Wishes of the Season to Everyone.

  28. What fantastic news. Those guys shutting themselves down because of an upcoming FTC hammering obviously know they are a bit crooked – Good Riddance!

For the rest of us who like to sleep well at night, Customer Friendly Marketing is a MUST. Good on you for leading the way Ann and David.

  29. Ann and David,

Thanks for whetting our appetites on the upcoming free webinar!

With all the hoopla over the new FTC rules pertaining to marketing, it’s good to know that “cooler heads” who continue to be honest can expect no problems with the FTC.

    Looking forward to the webinar.

    Wayne Holloway

  30. Dear Ann,

Thank you very much for putting this together. I’ve listened to a few videos from the FTC about their new laws, but I can’t wait to hear your perspective on it as well.

    Thank you. See you there!

    Julia

  31. Ann & David,
Thank you for the new way of thought for the rulings. The FTC is thinking in the box as usual and coming from a closed idea of what they want, and a not a broad picture.
Thank you for the update, and the Dec 9th Webinar.

  32. I think it’s great to focus on what we can do instead of what we can’t. Why focus on what we can’t if we can’t do it anyway.!!

  33. Tom Renfro says:

    Thank you Ann & David,

I’m really looking froward to the upcoming webinar and I really appreciate all the work you’ve done..and as I said .. I’m looking forward to your “take” on things..
    Your Friend,
    Tom

  34. Hi, everyone,
I am not a lawyer and I haven’t studied the issue, but I was told that the new rules affect everyone who markets products or services in the USA [that reach a US market] – whether or not they live in the USA. So, that’s just about every marketer.

Please, if anyone has any additional information on this, I welcome your comments and corrections.
    All the best,
    Angela

  35. Hi Ann,

I actually missed the first “customer friendly marketing” video, and would like to catch it before tonight’s webinar. I can’t seem to find a link for it. Can you or anyone else post it here? I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to see it.

    Lane

  36. Thank you Ann and David. When I hear “FTC” and “new laws and regulations” my eyes cross. Not because I can’t find the information, or understand it with a lot of eye scrunching and re-reading and mulling it over–but because I just want to know what it means to me as a marketer and what I need to do or change. I know I’ll get that in plain English from you two. Looking forward to the call.

  37. Hi guys looking forward to the webinar to understand the FTC rules in a new light and going forward with customers

  38. Ann…. this is truly needed and I thank you on behalf of my team and business partners for offering to enlighten us. I hope it’s recorded and posted, I’ve emailed my list and have several responses about a recording. Wed night is church for many with Christmas plays going on.
