How To Redefine Your Sense Of Overwhelm To Gain Greater Confidence and Results

Ann SiegThis video is especially for people who are trying to learn online marketing but feel overwhelmed with everything they need to do.

It can seem daunting. Just one aspect of marketing, like writing an email sequence, or generating leads can seem like a huge undertaking.

You’ve heard “it’s all worth it” because of all the leads you can generate online so you want to stick with it. You know you can’t give up, but you also know you can’t go on feeling so stuck; so overwhelmed.

So… how exactly can you understand and reframe your sense of overwhelm so you can start to breathe a little and actually enjoy the process?

This video will shed some light on the problem of overwhelm, and give you direction to get moving in the right direction.

Penelope’s Personal Experience With This Dreaded Feeling Of Overwhelm, And How She Conquered This Beast

Penelope Cox is a member of our Daily Marketing Coach community with a corporate background. Not long ago, she commented on the issue of overwhelm as a result of a weekly newsletter video I created for all of my DMC members.

Here’s what she wrote in our private Facebook community, which I think is worth repeating here.

1) I reviewed my “Why” for wanting to get educated in how to build a profitable online business.

2) I reviewed my “belief system” with the digital space to provide financial security.

I asked myself, again, “Do I still embrace the digital space and do I still believe that the technological advancements that are changing our lives can they provide opportunities to make money online and pull in a few $thousand a month to subsidize my retirement?”

3) I reviewed my current day-to-day situation/schedule and what I need to do in order to continue learning/implementing what is necessary to move me forward online.

4) I relaxed.

Went on a long walk. Had dinner with friends. Went to one of our local lakes and partied with college buddies. Worked out at the gym. And, mentally thought about all of this. Which actually ended up being a few days. I guess I took a week’s vacation and asked myself a few questions and basically asked
myself to re-think the value of learning how to market in the digital space and it’s ability to really provide me with some additional income.

Results:

I actually was never “overwhelmed.”

  1. Love this video. At first I hesitated and the came back to finally watch it. If more people could just listen to what you’re saying Ann, more Americans will enhance their leadership and build a better financial future. The college students dropping out college is because colleges are teaching non motivational courses. People aren’t motivated any more telling them that having a degree is the key to their financial success. Great video keep up the good work Ann. I posted it to my facebook groups.

  2. Aloha, Ann. Good stuff as usual.
