The Difference Between Positioning and Prospecting

Positioning not prospecting

Want to know what happens when you provide true information your target audience is looking for?

These days, if you’re going to do anything effectively, especially if you’re selling something… you’re going to have to find a way to get invited – not as an unwelcome pest, but as a welcomed guest.

When you’re invited …

You instantly become the expert in your lead’s eyes, and the key “X factor” for why that is is because you’re giving without expecting anything in return.

“Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.”
-Law of Value

Consider this…

You might just be training your future partners.

You want people joining your downline properly trained, right?

Then once they join you, they’ll know exactly how to get things going for themselves in this way because you’ve already modeled it.

You’re already “super-charging” your leads by giving them the skills necessary to start seeing results sooner than later.

The difference is positioning.

You don’t need to prospect when you position.

You come off different than everyone else. You’re not trying to hard sell them something like everyone else is.

Look, it’s not your responsibility to give EVERYONE the opportunity to tell you “No.”

It IS your responsibility to provide true information that your target audience is looking for.
