ATTN: No Excuses Summit Attendees – Here Is How To Earn Maximum ROI From No Excuses Summit

Take These Strategies To Turn Your No Excuses Summit Expenses Into Sources Of Profit

Become an active participant in your own success

You Want Both Eyes Wide Open

Prepare before the event:

  • Always be in motion.
  •

  • Always be engaged.
  •

  • Get a lay of the land.
  •

  • And Pay Close Attention!

Every event is what you make of it.

Every event is a chance to make an opportunity happen. The trick, however, is that you not only have the diligence, but the openness to such opportunities, and you MUST have a sense of what you’d like to see happen.

So with that, it’s your duty to create an opportunity for yourself.

Before Doing Anything At All, Mix These Following Elements

Guiding questions:

What are your goals and mission (i.e. How do you want to advance your own ideas and/or causes?).

How much drive will this take? How much initiative is required to make something happen?

What people or resources do you need to make this happen?

What will be required of you as it pertains to serving or helping other people?

Now juxtapose that with your capabilities and the people/resources needed.

Here Are 12 Proven Methods To Convert Live Event Expenses Into Little Cash Cows

Strategy #1

Have your team come in a half day early or after.

Provide your own training and value.

Consider offering a prize to those who show up.

Provide a game plan after the event.

Frame the event with your leadership lens.

Strategy #2

Think long term. Develop your own hook to be unique.

My own example:

I leveraged the recent Cash Control Academy Event by spinning a mastermind as a result of the content I shared. I made this mastermind exclusive. I also shared what I learned from the event from the presenters and shared my notes on video.

I created a YouTube playlist of the video series.

See below:

Strategy #3

Sell sponsored advertising space on your blog.

This requires that you have a blog. It also requires that you have a reasonable amount of traffic. But a lot of traffic isn’t absolutely necessary. We’ve experimented with placing banner ads at smaller-ish blogs with some success.

Strategy #4

Help a guru. Offer to help your favorite guru in exchange for money, exposure, access or barter.

Strategy #5

Host a webinar right during the event. Charge for it or build a list through it. Give them a full update. Quick and dirty. Provide pictures, commentaries, notes, anything your audience might be interested in.

Strategy #6

Target the NES3 Facebook Page with FB ads. Be careful with this one. Target all whom LIKE NES3 Facebook Page with an offer related to the event.

Strategy #7

Offer a service at NES3. i.e. Who doesn’t need branded Facebook Timeline Covers, WordPress blog Set Up or Copywriting services? Key here is to anticipate what leaders will be speaking about at NES3. Make it relate.

Strategy #8

Set up a social media buzz campaign.

Create videos about as many related topics as you can. Post in a short blog post, broadcast out through your Facebook page, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Set up your campaign on a very targeted concept or theme. IE. Should you go to NES3?, applying NES3 marketing to your own marketing, what I learned from NES3, etc.

This is a good idea too.

Strategy #9

Sell or use your NES3 notes/footage as a list builder or low ticket sale. Key here is presentation. Make it remarkable, and a steal at $7.

Strategy #10

Interview leaders, and offer behind an opt-in wall. Same as above. Key here is to theme each interview to the leaders’ skill set, and take an angle, or perspective.

Here is an example:

Strategy #11

Sell to your list. Offer an incentive to your list if they purchase through your link. Do the same with your team.

Strategy #12

Bring it home to your local team. Extract the Gold Nuggets from the event and bring it home to your local team. Charge $10 at the door. Don’t have a local team? Use this info to launch a local campaign.

  1. Hi Ann….

Great Information in this post. Any one of the Strategies you provided is priceless. Thanks for over delivering and giving us 12 Strategies!

I’m eager to put some of them into action for the NES3 Event and other Events in the futures! ~ Marsha

  2. Hi Ann!

I hope this is the right place for this.

Here is my blog post for the before – during – after NES3:

    http://www.truthful-solutions.com/rising-from-the-ashes/

My business partner and I are just getting started with learning how to do all this “stuff”. So, we really don’t know what we are doing. That is why we are going to No Excuses 3!!! We want to learn.

We figured that we would do a post about how we are on a journey from having lost it all to building a successful business. We outlined what we plan to do to make the most from NES3 by telling a story and inviting others along for the ride. We wanted to help people by showing them our experiences as we learn how to build a successful business ourselves. This way they can learn from our experiences too.

    Thanks,

    Bill

  3. Bill Hilton says:

    Ann,
This is not actually a note for your blog but I don’t know how else to send you an email.

We posted a blog post last night fit the no excuses contest but my partner misread the instructions about titling it “getting your maximum return from no excuses”.

    Please consider our post.

    I sincerely appreciate it.
    Bill

  4. I have attended many company and industry conventions, conferences and events in the past but have never come with a preplanned agenda and mission of how to get the greatest value from these events. It’s been sort fly by the seat of my pants.

When I heard your training on not only how to get the greatest value from out-of-town seminars, especially the NES3 thats coming soon, but on how to make it profitable I was all ears.

So here’s my blog post on how I plan to apply this information to NES3. Enjoy!

  5. Great Ann,

Some of these were no-brainers…but others had me smacking my forehead with the palm of my hand and saying “why didn’t I think of that?”

    Thanks.

    Tom
