Having to talk to so many people just to find the few that are really interested sounds like tons of work, not to mention embarrassing!   2. I never walked through the malls, but I did strike up conversations with a lot of strangers. Seriously, what a waste of life! I treasure your advice Curt! :-)

    • Thanks Stella! As you know the internet has changed the paradigms of how people shop, process information, make decisions, etc – the 3 foot rule was brutal in the 1980’s, any trainer teaching that today must be partly sadistic.

  4. Oh my goodness this brings back a flood of memories. My former mentor would take me to the mall and force me to speak to anyone breathing. I would get a pit in my stomach knowing that this was not the approach that I was comfortable with but was told “that’s how all successful network marketers make their millions”. Well heck, I wanted to do what successful people do so I sucked it up. All it did was break my spirit, ticked me off and I turned to food and depression to stuff those feelings. I finally smartened up and said enough is enough I’m just going to be myself and quit chasing people. I got my life back and now that I found DMC it feels “oh so good”. No more chasing.

    • Sorry to bring back those painful memories. As Ann has revealed, 99 times out of 100, that is NOT how the BIG Shots made it to millions…. Love your courageous spirit, you are crushing it now with your RPD virus (Renegade Personality Disorder :-)
