How To Make A List, And Check It Twice

How many of you think you could lose weight and/or tone up WITHOUT buying “THE” book, investing into “THE” diet program or joining “THE” weight loss challenge or anything at all except what you know to be true about your body?

I argue that you CAN lose weight and be in the best shape of your life with no outside influence.

I’m convinced all you really need is you. Nothing else.

And it’s with this innate ability that I think you can use the exercise I’m about to share to get off to a rockin’ fast start with your MLM business in 2012.

Try This…

Write down “THE” 5 things that you know will cause a drop in weight.

Then do these things for 30 days.

I’ll bet you lose the weight 100% of the time.

Dave’s Weight Loss List

Dave is a friend that decided to lose weight using the aforementioned exercise.

His list looked like this:

  • Stop eating large meals at night (after 7:00 p.m.)
  • Drink more water (at least 48 oz per day)
  • Cut out sodas (no more Diet Coke)
  • Cut down on carbs (watch bread in-take, and no more weekend six packs)
  • Start walking every day (3 miles first thing in the morning)

That was Dave’s list.

He didn’t consult with any third party references.

Didn’t make any purchases.

He just took what he already knew.

You can do this with anything.

Like your network marketing business.

Make your list today.

Dave Followed His List For 30 Days Straight

It was no mistake that he lost weight.

Anyone who wants to lose weight (or get any kind of results with anything) could —

starting right now …

armed with nothing more than what they already know …

and a little bit (or a lot) of self-discipline …

Make significant progress and/or meet their goals.

No need to buy the latest and greatest book (unless there is).

No need to purchase the special food that comes with the special diet (unless there is).

No need to join an MLM (unless there is).

No need to get on “autoship” to buy the vitamin shakes (unless there is).

No need to drive cross town to walk on the gym’s treadmill (unless there is).

Unless it’s on your list, you don’t need it.

So Here’s What To Do Now

Turn off the noise, and make your list.

Decide on a start date.

Then stay disciplined for 30 days at a time. Reflect, adjust and repeat.

For a mass majority of you, all you need is what you already know, and follow what you’ve written on your list.

Write your list in the comments.
Use this exercise to get off to a fast start in 2012.

  1. Here’s my list:
    1. Finish the Holiday Hustle
    2. Finish my fan page
    3. Post at least 4 x per week
    4. Master the use of LinkedIn for business

  2. Here is my list:: 1,2&3 and so forth – I weighed 186 lbs. and lost 71 lbs. by eating less. And by eating slower and stopping before I felt full. When eating out with other people, eat slowly and enjoy and stop when the others are finished. Don’t care if others think you are slow at eating. Same applies when eating in a restaurant; and take a box home with you.

Update: (July 4th, 2013) Hello, I thought you might like to know the latest on how I am doing weight- wise. I am happy to report I am staying at between 120 – 125 and eating what I like and not feeling starved. I have changed a bit on what I am eating. Every day a huge salad with 5 or more raw vegetables and that really fills me up. I eat much less meat, hardly any, and don’t miss it. I do a shake for breakfast and lunch.
I do have to tell you I make my shakes from Herbalife and eat their Protein Bars. Sorry for the advertising but Herbalife has made all the difference in my health…so there!! I am walking my two little dogs every day and get more benefit out of doing it then probably the dogs do. I do have a problem now with keeping my figure without the tummy bulge. However, in four days I become 81 years old and without any old age diseases and feel great every day.
