Online or off, you can develop an "effective" marketing mindset, and position yourself in front of prospects who are ALREADY looking for what you offer.
Typically, the more traditional network marketers become really efficient in their prospecting methodology.
After all, they’re going to need people to talk to. You get efficient with sitting down and jotting down names. And you get good at going out and finding more people. You’ve got the process down pat.
But here is the problem with that.
Effective marketing comes down to getting in front of people who have an interest in what you have to offer. In other words, people who are actually looking for the solutions that you provide for them.
Usually that isn’t the case when you put together a names list, or go seeking out more people to talk to about your business. I suppose there is a chance. Maybe 3 out of a 100 people might be considering a home based business, or they have an interest in your product. But that’s due to pure happen stance. Not by strategy.
In contrast, an effective marketer understands that having an efficient process of getting in front of more people is important, but only half the battle.
The less important part at that. The other more effective half of this equation is getting in front of people who are already looking for those solutions that you happen to offer.
And that’s the idea behind being more effective rather than just efficient. Be effective first. Once you are, you can focus on being efficient.
