How to Strategically and Genuinely Help People First So They Come To You Instead Of You Hounding After Them

How to Strategically and Genuinely Help People First So They Come To You Instead Of You Hounding After Them

Today we’re going to discuss how to be strategic about genuinely helping people first so that they come to you and join you in your business. But even if they don’t join you in your business, we’ll talk about how you can still earn a profit from them.

Let’s get started with a question…

“Would you rather have people emailing and calling you about what you do and/or what business you’re in or would you like to go out of your way to try and persuade them to join your business?”

Don't be a "pitcher."

Here’s a simple truth…

People don’t like to be sold or convinced that your network marketing business is great.

And that truth doesn’t just apply to the network marketing industry. It applies to every industry known to mankind. It applies to marketing. It’s about teaching you to become a better marketer so that you can transform your network marketing business model.

I’ll say it again: people don’t like to be pitched or sold on anything.

How many times have you been hounded by a sales person, or another network marketer to buy their product or join their deal? It’s not attractive, and seldom works. If it does work, ask yourself how long does it last?

The answer is rarely.

This is the way a lot of people run their network marketing business, and it’s a problem because it doesn’t work; it doesn’t last and it’s bad marketing.

What If People Were Coming To You?

What if people were asking you questions and wanting to learn more about what you do, how you do it, and what you were offering? – Every day…

And in this way, you wouldn’t be pitching your business either. You’d just be helping people find the answers that they’re looking for.

This is the way a more and more people are choosing to run a successful network marketing business.

Why? Because it works. It’s sustainable. It’s lucrative. And it’s a good marketing model.

This knowledge will help you transform your network marketing business (and experience) into the lucrative model that you see the “big doggs” using. Plus, we won’t stop here. There will be blog posts on this topic. But for today, I just want to introduce you to the core concepts.

It’s called attraction marketing, or permission marketing, but let’s not get caught up in what it’s called because at the end of the day, it’s simply effective, and it gets results.

I have found that once you start to genuinely, yet strategically, start to help people first, without trying to sell them or convince them of something, the odds of your perfect prospects and customers coming to you substantially increase.

You Didn’t Get Into Network Marketing
To Help People All Day Long

I’m going to show you the exact same methods that are used by top earners to have prospects emailing you and calling you with their questions and inquiries about what you do.

Everything I’ll be sharing with you is 100% based upon real world experience.

Now I know you didn’t get into network marketing to help people all day long. You joined your network marketing business to make money. Understood!

That’s why what I’m about to teach you is strategic.

You really can help people on auto-pilot. It’s true not just a worn out cliché.

That’s all for today.

Here are the big lessons I want you to understand:

    1. Get in the mindset of helping others first before you start to pitch your business. No one likes to be sold or convinced or persuaded.
    2.

    3. There is a way to strategically help people without killing yourself because, after all, you joined this business to make money not help people for the sake of helping people. You would have joined the Red Cross if that was your goal.
    4. This will be a series of blog posts to transform your network marketing business. Stay tuned for more.

  1. Eric, this is a really great post! Although I’ve heard this message many times before, reading it again here, the message still seems fresh and new. We can’t be reminded of this concept enough. When we shift our mind set to that of a service provider who is filling a real need, it changes everything! I love how this concept creates the very real possibility of a win / win encounter with the prospect every single time. It completely removes the “power struggle” and everyone ends up happy! Thanks for the reminder!

  2. I like your posts so much I was wondering if I could post them on my blog with a link back to you for more information? I am not expecting anything in return, just to help my visitors like you have helped me. Thank you for sharing.

  3. my first involvement with MLM was AMWAY, I was 17 yrs old. I went to a convention I heard Norman vincent Peale, and Zig Ziglar speak, I was sold on the idea of having my own business, but not the concept, the how to do it. I made some money retailing some product, but not much.
Then I did NSA, there i implemented some of what i learnt with AMWAY, made $40.000 in about 100 days, then the company went on a restructuring phase.
After that, a bunch of hit and miss. Now It’s been at least 10yrs since I made my last attempt with an MLM company, however, it’s like something is missing in my life, but I am tired of loosing money.
I like your teaching, but I am not a techie. I need major guidance, I am not illiterate, I work with computers, but applying myself to do business is another story.
I like the face to face stuff, but it’s old school. please help me as i am about to embark in this business again, I don’t even know how to evaluate this type of venture.
Guess that was too much disclosure, I am open to suggestion.
    Mish

  4. This is really true. People should be looking to do business with us rather than we chasing them. “As a business we might be able to make a customer take a hasty decision to buy something from us but only if he is really happy will he come back again to buy.

  5. Nice! I do agree with you in fact if more Online/Network Marketers came into this industry knowing this then they would succeed a lot faster. You have to understand people because all they care about is WIFM What’s In It For Me & if you can’t help them they’ll end up going to someone else who can.

Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way, but I definitely know better now:)
