Ann Sieg’s “21 Suggestions For Success” (Video #15)

“Be honest.”

My husband says I have this quality to a fault.

So there’s likely – once again – a finer distinction to be made for this success suggestion.

In this video, I share a story of a Dairy Queen employee. Contrary to the dishonesty of a customer, this employee came out in winning colors because of his sense of justice.

  1. Great message and lesson to live by Ann. Honesty means you never have to remember and cover lies. Plus it just feels good.

  2. Great post Anne. A poem called ” your name” I can`t remember the author at this moment. But is how I raised my kids. be proud of your name, It is a good clean untarnished name. So do not do anything to shame or tarnish your name. Told them never let anyone talk you into stealing something as cheap as a bag of chips or a chocolate bar, because no matter how good of a kid you are you will be known as a little thief. Your reputation takes years to build and seconds to destroy.

    • Thanks for the comment, Darwin. What comes to mind siting your reference is a proverb that states, “A good name is better than great riches: and good favour is above silver and gold.”

And so true. Only seconds to destroy a hard earned reputation. You have to be vigilant at all times.
